Musandam trip 2 days starts in the morning from 10:00 am and ends the next day around 03:00 pm with lunch at the local restaurant, Al Shamalia Grill and Restaurant. Here is the detailed itinerary for our Musandam two days tour.

09:30 AM – Reporting Time

You must leave Dubai by 06:00 am then you will reach Khasab dhow port by-09:30 am. It takes around 3.5 hours from Dubai to Khasab Musandam including the border time so plan early in case of public holidays.

10:00 AM – Dhow Cruise Departure

The Khasab Musandam camping trip starts from dhow port as our boat will leave at 10:00 am sharp. You will be welcomed by our crew onboard and served soft drinks and plain water. You will have access to coffee, tea, and fresh fruits as well.

10:45 AM – Dolphin watching

Dolphins are widely considered to be one of the most beloved creatures on earth, and visitors to the Musandam fjords will have a chance to these majestic mammals. As these dolphins are not trained ones so our crew will try their best to take you to the best spots where you can see them.

11:30 AM – Telegraph Island Swimming

The first Swimming and snorkeling that should stop on our Musandam camping trip will be at Telegraph Island. This Island is known for its excellent swimming conditions, so don’t miss out and enjoy it!

01:00 PM – Lunch Onboard

As you enjoy swimming and snorkeling, our staff will make onboard lunch arrangements. It will include fried rice, fried chicken, Hummus, salad, Khubz, lentils, and veg curry.

02:00 PM – Seebi Island Swimming

While you will be enjoying your onboard lunch, our crew will sail toward Seebi Island and will anchor the boat there. Seebi island is another amazing place for snorkeling and swimming, being at the end of the Musandam fjords, you will find more clear water.

04:00 AM – Campsite Arrival

We will leave Seebi Island around 03:00 pm and our full-day dhow cruise will come to an end at around 4:00 PM, and after that, we’ll head over to the beach campsite. The staff will welcome you to the Khasab Musandam campsite and will show you your tents and camping arrangements.

07:00 PM – Campsite Dinner

Depending on the conditions at the campsite, you will be able to enjoy a live barbecue dinner around 07:00 pm or later in the evening. For dinner, there will be chicken kebab, grilled fish, rice, fried items such as potatoes, beef kebab, and fresh salad.

07:00 AM- Campsite Breakfast

Our campsite staff will make all required arrangements for breakfast, and you will enjoy bread, boiled eggs, jam, yogurt, bottled juices, plain water, coffee, and tea.

09:00 AM -Meet & Greet

Our mountain guide will meet you at Khasab dhow port and will guide you about the route map and the areas we will be covering in the Musandam mountain safari.

09:30 AM – Khasab Highlights

As we leave for the adventurous mountain safari, we will pass by different government buildings, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Khasab downtown, and small markets.

10:00 AM – Khor Najd

Our first stop will be Khor Najd, a beautiful sea viewpoint and the best place for photography. Khor Najd” is one of the largest lagoons in the Governorate of Musandam and is from the word ‘help’ in Arabic.

10:30 AM – Bait-Al-Quful

As we come down from the Khor Najd, our second stop will be “Bait-Al-Quful” the “House with old lock”. At the present time, ‘Bait Al Quful’ represents an architectural landmark, still existing and telling of itself in varying numbers, in the scattered villages in the mountains of the governorate.

11:00 AM – Mountain Home

 We will continue driving into the mountain and will stop on the way to see the “Mountain Home” where a man used to live for a long and climb up the mountain to reach his home.

11:30 AM – Wadi As-Sayah

Wadi As Saya is a beautiful wadi surrounded by majestic mountains. It is lush green from October to April every year there is rain. A few farmers grew crops there as well and some adventures go camping as well.

12:00 PM – Jebel Al Harim

 Our last stop will be Jebel Al Harim, that is (also known as Jebel As-Sayah or Mountain of Women). It is an impressive mountain peak reaching 2056m above sea level, but we will stop at around 1784 meters. It is the highest mountain in Khasab Musandam Oman.

01:00 PM – Drop Off

After visiting Jebel Al Harim, we will drive down from the mountains and our Khasab Musandam mountain safari will come to an end.
